THE DARK KRYPT is TEMPORARILY closed.

An extended illness coupled with incompetent and unreliable staff has forced The Dark Krypt to temporarily close its doors. For contributers who have been waiting for compensation, please accept our deepest apologies and know that once the staffing problems are resolved, all outstanding debts will be settled (projected scheduled remittances are set for June 2007).

Authors who have contributed and are awaiting response, and authors who have been awaiting publication are hereby released to send their work elsewhere with our deepest regrets. It is the hope of publisher, contributors will again seek The Dark Krypt in the future.

Once all internal issues are decided and business matters concluded, The Dark Krypt's publisher intends to direct a complete restructuring of the publication and thereafter reopen. The grand reopening is planned for July 1, 2007. At that time, new submission guidelines, remittance rates will be posted, and submissions again accepted.

To those authors who, in the past and will in the future, have been integral to The Dark Krypt remaining online, our sincere gratitude; to those authors who have remained steadfast and patient though this crisis, our kindest thanks and respect.
